Re-Wilding OURSELVES: looking at gestures in a more-than-human world
A Gathering of Sign Language Artists.... TO RETREAT IN NATURE
- CONCEPT: Sandbox/Playground set up for experimental filmmaking in Nature
- THEME: Inspired by folks passionate in Biology/Life Science/Wildlife Studies... we come together and figure out how to tap in and experiment with various sign langauge literature and elements (personification, cinematographic features, classifiers)... hence the need to have a Gathering of Experimental ASL Storytellers & Creatives to "Let Nature Take Its Course"

- WHERE: Cabins near Lake Pithalachooco near Gainesville, FL and/or The Bartram Inn Bed N' Breakfast Inn in Palatka, FL

Summer provides hosting grounds and filming space & equipment.
Sharing cost for food/transportation may be arranged. Ben Bahan will come with rental car and chip in for food.
Bartram Inn has 1 room with full size bed (Elizabeth Room) and 1 room with 2 twin beds (Franklin Room). 1 room downstairs has a pull-out couch.
