Grateful for the opportunity experience both the light and the dark. I’ve been connecting with a lot of Light-workers lately... a dear friend reminded me, Light-workers also need to master in working with darkness.
You cannot have one without the other. I’ve been exploring both sides- before the darkness would give me anxiety, but now, because I’ve faced so much of my fears- I’m beginning to learn how to work with the darkness. Taking a deep breath, reminding myself to stay present, and then plunge into the unknown. #FaceYourFears #WorkWithLove #WorkingOnMyAnxiety#CenteringOurselves #exploringthedepthsofmysoul #cenotes #naturelovers#latergram #summatravels [image: Summer is standing at edge of a platform about to jump into the water. Short quick video edit of Summer plunging into the cenote from above the caverns. The jump into the water was in slow motion. Then after the splash, you see bubbles and feet surfacing from the blue depth.] @ El Gran Cenote, Tulum

So I had to fly somewhere before the travel voucher expired.
So, this is my 2nd time venturing out of the USA alone, after a beautiful trip to Thailand and Cambodia back in February. Latin America has been calling my heart for a while. I’ve been wanting to go back (since living for 6 months in Costa Rica back in 2004). So, I went. I fell in love with the solitude I've experienced for the full 4 days- I was able to truly connect with myself, reflect on my life and my dreams. Tulum was, although becoming very touristy, still beautiful. The experience was beautiful, the connection I had with the locals were amazing. Sure… there was some discomfort, anxiety, uncertainty, and plenty of risks- but that was part of the journey. So, I'm sharing a few photos of my trip- there are so many more stories I want to share and hope to eventually tell them- either in person or through film. I'm feeling so much gratitude in my heart for the path I'm on, the people I've met, the people who have supported me on this healing journey. If you click on the photos, you'll be able to read the descriptions and comments about each. Enjoy! |
